Data We Store

All classifieds ads and account information you provide to VCI is stored in our database and may be retained after deletion. Our web logs and other records are stored indefinitely. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information in a secure operating environment that is not available to the public, we cannot guarantee complete security.

Public Display of Account Information

Upon signup you are required to enter common information such as name, phone, texting and email address, mailing address and zip code. When posting an ad or replying to other ads your name, phone, city, state and account type may be displayed with your ad. Your address and texting address will not be displayed. Your phone number will only be displayed to other validated VCI users. However, you may choose to override VCI's security settings by entering this information into the body of your ad.

Archiving and Display of VCI Classifieds Postings by Search Engines and Other Sites

Search engines and other sites not affiliated with VCI Classifieds such as archive.org, google.com, and groups.yahoo.com may archive or otherwise make available VCI Classifieds postings.

Third Party Links

Occasionally, at our discretion, VCI may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites may have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites. Users of VCI Classifieds may include links to third parties websites in their posts. You acknowledge that we have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites.

Children's Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance

We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act), we do not collect any information from anyone under 18 years of age. Our website and services are all directed to people who are at least 18 years of age or older.
