Would not hesitate to ride to west coast, Smokies, Florida etc. if I was able.
2003 BMW R1200 Cruiser, very clean, no corrosion, new battery 2 wks ago, keep on trickle charger. Always stored inside a garage.
68XXX miles - These are known to last 150,000 - 200,000 miles or more when serviced properly.
Loaded: Water/oil cooled boxer fuel injected engine with 6 speed (OD) transmission. Electronic cruise with set/resume button. 4 headlights, windshield, turn signal have one button cancel. Large lockable storage side and top rear lockable cases. External speakers USB use with phone. Good tires.
Heated grips and seats.
High torque: Can run all day at 75 MPH at about 2800 RPM yet climb most any hill without downshifting. Average 40 to 42 mpg gas mileage with 4.6 gallon tank. Low fuel light at 1.2 gallons. Shaft drive. 2 up riding with no problem. Driver, passenger seat and back very comfortable. Luggage rack on top of trunk.
Big heavy bike not for beginners.
